In this day and age, environmental degradation presents great danger to thepublic. People in my country, and other places, have to bear polluted water andhaze day after day. As public awareness of the need for environmental protectiongrows in these countries, it is urgent to learn how to establish a green lifestyle.

To achieve a green life style, we must adjust our behavior. This can bedone even with simple things. For example, we could sort out our trash forbetter recycling. At home, we can use lights and other electricity only whenneeded. We should properly maintain air conditioners twice a year so they willrun efficiently, and, even more importantly, make sure doors and windows fitproperly and are sealed so that we can use less energy in heating and cooling.Other simple steps that make a big difference include using publictransportation instead of driving private cars.

Commuters can choose to take buses, subways or share cars with others,which not only relieves traffic jams but also reduces gas emission.

In my mind, it is high time to establish a general concept of sustainabledevelopment and green life style in China. The Earth has provided humans whatthey need; it is time to pay back. Only through a green life, can we ensure thatwe and our children live in an environment with green water and mountains,without traffic jams, and in an era with better living habits.

With the development of our society，energy in the world bees more and morelimited，so it is quite important for us to save energy and to protect ourenvironment。 As a student，there are a lot of methods we can do to save energyat home。 For example，first，we can turn off the light as well as otherappliances when we are not using them。 Second，recycle the waste water，paperand other waste so that we can reuse them。 What's more，it is suggested to usepublic transportation more instead of private cars。

Above all，everyone can make a great contribution to our environment。 Ihope I can learn more to develop new and clear energy，like energy from the windand solar。

Environmental problems are as big as not for individual country orindividual people to address。 In other word，we have reached the stage thatenvironmental problems be solved for international view。 To what extent do youagree or disagree?

In recent years，many nations have bee more aware of the environmentalissues each nation faces，such as air and water pollution。 The question is，arethe environmental issues a national problem or an international problem? It ismy belief that the environmental issues have grown to the point of being aninternational problem needing international cooperation to resolve。

Because of the differences in environmental policies，resources andtechnology，international cooperation could provide quicker results and have agreater impact on bringing resolution to environmental problems for nations ofdiffering environmental policies and of lesser resources and technology。 Bypooling international resources and technology to address the environmentalproblems，the disadvantaged nations are provided the assistance needed。Otherwise their environmental conditions deteriorate ultimately affecting theresources and environment of the world as a whole。

One of the difficulities to an international resolution to environmentalissues is the difference in individual nations view and policies towardenvironmental protection。 In order for international cooperation to occur andsucceed，the nations of the world must submit themselved to internationalstandards and supervision by an international mission elected by theparticipating nations of the world。 All members must agree to abide by thestandards established。

The environmental issues facing each country are not unrelated to the wellbeing of the rest of the world。 The impact is long term and international inscope。 Without international cooperation and agreement to address suchenvironmental issues as glacial melting at the South Pole，depletion of theozone layer，water pollution，air polution，etc。，the environmental conditionsof the world will deteriorate to the detriment of every nation，not just thosethat ignore or lack the resources and technology to resolve their individualenvironmental problems。

As part of the same planet，it is the responsibility of each individual andnation to protect the global environment。 Only international cooperation willprovide the timely solutions and the effectiveness needed to stop thedeteriorating global environment。
